Special events are highlighted here. Events including special group events, private layout showings, and train shows as brought to our attention will also be listed in the calendar below.
Please email info@minnesotafriends.org if you are having or know of an event that would be of interest to our members, including a private showing at your layout or an upcoming train show. It is common to refer to showings at a private layout as an "open house", but our private layout showings are by invitation only.
Our events do not require that a model railroad layout is involved. We are, after all, prototyping real railroads and therefore visits to museums or other venues simply portraying the operation and history of railroads are are in order.
